Even if one tries to paint the air,
is it colored?
Even if one cuts water with a sword,
is water cut?
If our mind is like the air and water,
what is there to like or dislike?
물감을 허공에 칠한들 허공이 물들 것이며
칼로 물을 끊은들 물이 끊어지랴.
사람의 마음이 물과 허공 같다면
어떤 물건을 대한들 좋고 싫음이 있겠는가?
