       Chapter 7. The Rescue of Optimus Prime (01:30:43 ~ 01:43:05)

       제 7장. 옵티머스 프라임 구출 (01:30:43 ~ 01:43:05)

 

       INT. ALIEN SPACESHIP―DAY

Cade and Shane are walking along the big pipes, but could not find Tessa. Shane finally cries out Tessa’s name. Cade blames Shane for his reckless behavior. 

       내부. 외계인 우주선―낮 

케이드와 셰인이 커다란 파이프를 따라 걷지만 테사를 찾지 못하고 있다. 셰인이 마침내 테사의 이름을 크게 소리친다. 케이드가 신중하지 못한 행동에 대해 셰인을 나무란다. 

 

CADE: We’re not gonna find her in this huge ship. Like a needle in a haystack. 

케이드: 우린 이 커다란 배에서 테사를 찾지 못할 거야. 건초더미에서 바늘 찾기와 같아. 

 

SHANE: (crying out) Tessa! 

셰인: (소리지르며) 테사야! 

 

CADE: Great, great! 

케이드: 잘 한다, 잘 했어! 

 

The inside of the spaceship starts to change and some creepy sounds are heard around them. 

우주선의 내부가 변하기 시작하고 어떤 으시시한 소리가 그들 주위에서 들린다. 

 

CADE: Well, that was smooth. No! That was really smooth. Lettin’ everybody know we are here. Now they’re gonna be looking for us. 

케이드: 흠, 잘 돌아가게 만든다. 아냐! 정말 잘 돌아가게 해줬다고. 모든 놈들이 우리가 여기 있는 게 알게 해주네. 이제 그 놈들이 우리가 여기 있는 걸 알 거야. 

 

Meanwhile Crosshairs and Drift are climbing up crammed in a crack between machine walls to find something. 

이러는 동안 크로스헤어와 드리프트는 무언가를 찾기 위해 기계벽 사이의 틈 사이에 끼여서 기어 올라간다. 

 

DRIFT: Better hurry, Crosshairs, before we go into space. 

드리프트: 서두르는 게 좋아, 크로스헤어, 우리가 우주로 가기 전에 말이야. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Ah, here’s a little juju bee right here. 

크로스헤어: 아, 빨갛게 빛나는 작은 보물이 바로 여기 있군. 

 

He pulls out something from the wall. There is a change in the spaceship. 

그가 벽에서 무언가를 빼낸다. 우주선에 변화가 생긴다. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Hello, Mama. 

크로스헤어: 안녕, 마마. 

 

It is the switch that drops the anchors of the space ship. Anchors are thrown from many parts of the alien spaceship, and attach themselves onto a building. The alien spaceship cannot rise upward because of the anchors. Lockdown realizes this, and gets angry. 

그것은 우주선의 닻을 내리는 스위치이다. 외계인 우주선의 많은 부분에서 닻들이 던져져 나와서 한 건물에 고정된다. 외계인 우주선은 이 닻들 때문에 상승하지 못한다. 락다운이 이것을 인지하고 화를 낸다. 

 

LOCKDOWN: Who fired the anchors?!! Who’s on my ship? (hitting the armrest of his chair ) We have a loose prisoner. (to steeljaws, his alien robot monster dogs) Suparamo Sedei! 

라다운: 누가 닻들을 발사한 거야? 누가 내 배에 탄 거나? (자기 의자의 팔걸이를 치며) 탈출한 죄수가 있다. (자신의 외계 로봇 괴물개인, 강철턱들에게) 수파라모 세데이 가라! 

 

Steeljaws storm out to find any intruders. Cade and Shane are walking along the hallway still looking for Tessa. 

강철턱들이 침입자를 찾기 위해 뛰쳐나간다. 케이드아 셰인은 여전히 테사를 찾으며 통로를 따라 걷고 있다. 

 

CADE: Hurry up! We got like six minutes. 

케이드: 서둘러! 이제 우리한테 6분 정도밖에 없어. 

 

SHANE: We’ll find her. (after a while) Hold up!  

셰인: 우린 테사를 찾을 거에요. (잠시 후) 기다려 보세요. 

 

Shane sees something ahead and stops. Alien robot guards and a searching robot hovering in the air are looking for intruders. Cade and Shane hide quickly. 

셰인이 앞쪽에서 무언가를 보고 멈춘다. 외계 로봇 경비병과 허공에 떠있는 탐색로봇이 침략자들을 찾고 있다. 케이드와 셰인이 숨는다. 

 

CADE: Back up. Come on! Those things’re gonna find us. 

케이드: 물러나. 빨리! 저것들이 우리를 찾을 거야. 

 

SHANE: Hurry! Hide! 

셰인: 서두르세요! 숨어요! 

 

       INT. NEAR PRISONS, ALIEN SPACESHIP―DAY  

Tessa is looking all around her, almost breathless with fear. She seems to decide to just hide and remain still. However, from where she is hiding she sees steeljaws approaching. She starts running to get away from them, but they keep chasing after her. Tessa is desperate. 

       내부. 감옥근처. 외계인 우주선―낮 

테사가 거의 공포로 숨막혀 하면서 그녀 주위를 둘러본다. 그녀는 그냥 숨어서 조용히 있기로 결정한 듯이 보인다. 그러나, 자기가 숨어있는 곳에서 그녀는 강철턱들이 다가오는 것을 본다. 그녀가 그것들에게서 도망치려 달리기 시작하지만 그것들은 그녀를 계속 쫓아온다. 테사는 필사적이다. 

 

TESSA: (gasping) Huk, Huk … 

테사: (숨을 헐떡이며) 헉, 헉. 

 

Finally, an alien robot monster dog leaps at her, but she quickly moves aside as other dogs rush in and crash against each other. Tessa runs behind through some steel pipes installed vertically. Steeljaws can’t get through the gap between pipes. Tessa runs again. 

마침내 강철턱 한 마리가 테사에게 달겨들지만, 다른 강철턱들이 달려들어 서로 부딪히는 바람에 그녀가 재빨리 옆으로 비킨다. 테사는 강철 파이프들이 수직으로 설치된 곳을 지나 뒤쪽으로 도망간다. 강철턱들은 파이프 사이를 뚫고 들어올 수가 없다. 테사는 다시 도망친다. 

 

       INT. ARSENAL, ALIEN SPACESHIP―DAY  

Cade and Shane happen to get into the arsenal of the alien spaceship. Cade approaches and goes up to the control gear. It looks like a cut cylinder with swords stuck around it. The control stick is the biggest sword stuck in the center. Cade looks around, and touches then pushes the control stick. Lights start flickering, and weapons hanging on the wall appear clearly. 

       내부. 무기고. 외계인 우주선―낮 

케이드와 셰인이 우연히 외계인 우주선의 무기고로 들어간다. 케이드가 조종장치에 다가가 올라선다. 그것은 검들이 꼽혀진 잘려진 원통처럼 보인다. 조종간은 중앙에 있는 가장 큰 검이다. 케이드가 주위를 돌러보다 조종간을 만진 후 밀어본다. 불빛들이 번쩍이고 벽에 걸려있던 무기들이 명확히 드러난다. 

 

SHANE: (surprised) Wow! 

셰인: (놀라며) 와우! 

 

CADE: Weapons! (getting down from the control gear) Come here! Help me. Hurry! Hurry! 

케이드: 무기들이네! (조종장치에서 내려가며) 이리와 봐! 도와줘. 빨리! 빨리! 

 

Cade goes to the wall, and Shane runs towards him. Cade looks up at the wall to choose a suitable weapon. 

케이드가 벽으로 가고 셰인이 그리로 달려온다. 케이드가 적절한 무기를 고르기 위해 벽을 올려본다. 

 

CADE: (climbing up the wall) Help me up! 

케이드: (벽을 기어오르며) 나 좀 올려줘!

 

SHANE: There’s some weird sounds down there. 

셰인: 저 아래쪽에서 어떤 이상한 소리들이 나요. 

 

Cade isn’t listening to Shane. He picks a weapon and drops it down to Shane. Shane catches it. 

Tessa is still hiding somewhere behind the pipes near the prisons. However, a robot guard is still looking for intruders and it finds some trace of Tessa. A ball-shaped robot is also looking for the owner of the trace, radiating lights. Tessa steps onto a cell of the prison, but its monster inmate sticks out its tongue, which coils around Tessa’s right leg. Tessa is trying to get the tongue off from her leg, but can’t. She is panicking, and almost bursts into tears. Around the arsenal some strange light is moving on a part of facility forming rectangles, and some strange sounds are heard, too. Cade and Shane feel something bad is going to happen. 

케이드는 셰인의 말을 듣지 않는다. 그는 무기를 골라 아래 셰인쪽으로 떨어뜨린다. 셰인이 그것을 받는다. 테사는 여전히 감옥근처의 파이프들 뒤에 숨어있다. 그러나, 로봇 경비병이 아직도 침입자를 찾고 있고 그것은 테사의 어떤 흔적을 발견한다. 공모양의 로봇 또한 빛을 발산하며 그 흔적의 소유자를 찾고 있다. 테사가 감옥의 감방 한 개 위로 올라서지만 그 감방의 괴물 수감자가 혀를 내밀고, 그것은 테사의 오른발을 감싼다. 테사는 자기 다리에서 그 혀를 떼어내려고 애쓰지만 할 수가 없다. 그녀는 공포에 질리고 거의 울음을 터뜨릴 지경이다. 무기고 근처에는 시설의 일부분에 정사각형 모양을 만들어내는 어떤 이상한 불빛이 움직이고 있고 몇 몇 이상한 소리들이 또한 들린다. 

 

SHANE: (meaning the strange light) What is that?  셰인: (이상한 불빛을 의미하며) 저게 뭐에요?

 

CADE: I don’t know. (worried and serious) Ready? Run! 

케이드: 나도 몰라. (걱정하고 진지하게) 준비되었니? 튀어! 

 

They run to hide, as bullets start flying toward them. They lie down, and crawl to some place to hide. 

그들은 총알들이 그들을 향해 날아오기 시작할 때 숨기 위해 달린다. 그들은 엎드리고 숨을만한 장소로 기어간다. 

 

CADE: Ah, we’re not going down without a fight. 

케이드: 아, 우린 싸움하지 않고 밑으로 내려가지는 않겠지. 

 

Robot guards and robots approach their hiding place. Cade thinks of a way out of there. 

로봇 경비병들과 로봇들이 그들이 숨은 장소로 접근한다. 케이드는 거기서 빠져나갈 방법을 고안해 낸다. 

 

CADE: They turn that corner, we’re gonna take ’em. Are you ready? Are you gonna pinch out on me? 

케이드: 그들이 저쪽 코너를 돌면, 우리가 그들을 처치하는 거야. 준비됐지? 너 나 안 도와주고 혼자만 놓아두진 않을 거지?

 

SHANE: No, I got your back. 

셰인: 아뇨, 제가 뒤를 잘 받칠게요. 

 

CADE: (loud) Are you ready?

케이드: (큰 소리로) 준비됐지?

 

SHANE: Absolutely. 

셰인: 확실히요. 

 

An alien robot guard is getting closer to them. He loads his alien gun. 

한 외계 로봇 경비병이 그들에게 가까이 다가온다. 그는 외계인 총을 장전한다.

 

CADE: Don’t pinch out on me. OK? Are you ready?

케이드: 나 엿 먹이지 마, 알았지? 준비됐지?

 

SHANE: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. OK. 

셰인: 예, 예, 예. 좋아요. 

 

The alien robot guard fires his gun twice. Shane runs out to give himself up. 

외계 로봇 경비병이 자기 총을 두 번 발사한다. 셰인이 투항하려고 밖으로 뛰어 나간다. 

 

SHANE: (raising the alien gun with his hands) Wow! OK! I surrender! I surrender! I surrender! 

셰인: (자기 손으로 외계인 총을 들어올리며) 으아! 알았어요! 투항할게요! 항복! 항복! 

 

Two alien robot guards aim their guns at Shane; other robots stop and stare at him. Shane throws the alien gun in front of him, which fires automatically when it hits the ground. It kills an alien robot guard, and the others move back. Shane comes back next to Cade. 

두 외계 로봇 경비병들이 자신들의 총을 셰인에게 겨눈다; 다른 로봇들이 멈추어 서서 그를 응시한다. 셰인이 외계인 총을 그의 앞에 던졌는데, 그 총이 땅바닥에 부딪힐 때 자동으로 발사된다. 그 총이 한 외계 로봇 경비병을 죽이자 다른 로봇들은 뒤로 물러선다. 셰인이 케이드의 옆으로 돌아온다. 

 

SHANE: (out of his wits) I’m so so sorry! I’m so so so sorry! 

셰인: (정신이 나가서) 정말 정말 죄송해요! 정말 정말 죄송해요! 

 

CADE: What did you do? How did you do that? 

케이드: 뭘 한 거야? 어떻게 그렇게 한 거냐구?

 

SHANE: I have no idea! 

셰인: 나도 몰라요! 

 

CADE: It was so cool! (failing to know how to use the alien gun) Shit! Crap!

케이드: 아주 멋졌어! (외계인 총 사용법을 알아내지 못하며) 젠장! 쓰레기 같으니라구! 

 

Cade pulls up the bottom of the weapon by mistake while fiddling with it. The weapon is now ready to use. Cade looks surprised and happy. 

케이드가 그것을 만지작거리다 실수로 무기의 아래쪽을 당긴다. 이제 무기는 사용준비가 되었다. 케이드는 놀라고 행복한 듯이 보인다. 

 

 

CADE: (surprised) Look at it. See that? 

케이드: (놀라며) 이거 좀 봐. 이거 보이냐구? 

 

Cade fires his alien gun by mistake, which ricochets just beside Shane. 

케이드가 실수로 자기 외계인 총을 발사하고, 총알이 튀어나가 바로 셰인 옆을 맞힌다. 

 

SHANE: (surprised) Wow! 

셰인: (놀라며) 와우!

 

CADE: Stay here, lucky charms. 

케이드: 여기 있어, 행운의 마스코트야. 

 

Cade gets out, and shoots the alien guard robot. Cade’s weapon knocks it down, and he bravely fights against the alien robot guards and kills most of them. Finally, the other robots pull back from the scene. 

케이드가 나가서 외계 로봇 경비병을 쏜다. 케이드의 무기가 그것을 쓰러뜨리고 그는 외계 로봇 경비병들과 용감히 싸워 그것들 대다수를 처치한다. 마침내 다른 로봇들이 현장에서 철수한다. 

 

CADE: (almost overwhelmed by joy) Oh, man! I’m so gonna patent this shit! 

케이드: (거의 기쁨에 겨워서) 오, 이런! 난 이 빌어먹을 물건에 특허를 낼 거야. 

 

Tessa is still struggling to get the alien monster’s tongue off her leg. She is rolling around on the ground, but the tongue never lets her go. Tessa picks up some sharp metal, and stabs the middle of the tongue with it. She finally cuts out the tongue, and throws it in front of her. 

테사는 여전히 외계 괴물의 혀를 자기 다리에서 떼어내기 위해 분투중이다. 그녀는 땅에서 구르고 있지만 그 혀는 그녀의 다리를 결코 풀어주지 않는다. 테사가 어떤 날카로운 금속을 집어서 그것으로 혀의 중간부분을 찌른다. 그녀는 마침내 혀를 잘라내고 그것을 자기 앞에 던져 버린다. 

 

TESSA: (exhausted) Ehwe~! 

테사: (기진맥진해서) 에으~!

 

Tessa hears her father calling her name from a distance. 

테사가 멀리서 자기 아버지가 자기를 부르는 소리를 듣는다. 

 

TESSA: (crying out) Dad! Help me! 

테사: (소리지르며) 아빠! 살려줘요! 

 

Cade and Shane look upward and around from where they are standing. They walk in the direction of Tessa’s voice. 

케이드와 셰인이 자기네가 서 있는 곳에서 위층과 주위를 둘러본다. 그들은 테사의 목소리가 들리는 방향으로 걸어간다. 

 

CADE: Hey! 

케이드: 여기야! 

 

SHANE: Tess! 

셰인: 테스! 

 

CADE: Tess! 

케이드: 테스! 

 

Cade and Shane start running, but ball-shaped robots pop up to block their way. Cade shoots them with his alien gun. Cade keeps firing his weapon while running. 

케이드와 셰인이 달리기 시작하나 공모양의 로봇들이 갑자기 나타나 그들의 길을 막는다. 케이드가 자기의 외계인 총으로 그들을 쏜다. 케이드는 달리며 계속 자기 무기를 발사한다. 

 

CADE: Come on! Move! Move!

케이드: 어서! 뛰어! 뛰어! 

 

They and Tessa meet when Tessa runs around a corner. Cade opens his arms to hug her with a smile, but Tessa flies directly into Shane’s arms, to Cade’s disappointment. 

테사가 코너를 돌아 뛰어올 때 그들과 테사가 만난다. 케이드가 미소를 지으며 그녀를 포옹하기 위해 팔을 벌리지만, 케이드가 실망스럽게도 테사는 셰인의 품으로 바로 뛰어든다. 

 

TESSA: Shane, I love you. I love you. You saved me! Thank you. Ah~.

테사: 셰인, 사랑해. 사랑해. 날 구해줬구나! 고마워. 아~

 

SHANE: I know. I know. 

셰인: 알아. 알아. 

 

TESSA: (hugging Shane tightly) Oh, oh, thank you! Thank you so much! Thank you. You saved me. 

테사: (셰인을 꼭 끌어안으며) 오, 오, 고마워! 너무 고마워! 고마워. 날 구했어. 

 

CADE: Oh, yeah. He saved you. Yeah. 

케이드: 오, 그래. 셰인이 널 구했어. 그래. 

 

SHANE: Yeah. 

셰인: 예. 

 

CADE: I think you and Mr. ‘I Surrender’ have a lot to catch up about, sweetie. He saved me, too. You should’ve seen him. I mean our hero. Let’s go, now.   

케이드: 너와 ‘항복’씨가 얘기할 거 많을 거 같구나, 아가. 셰인은 나도 역시 구했어. 네가 셰인을 봤어야만 했는데. 내 말은 네 영웅이란 거지. 이제 가자. 

 

       INT. PRISON, ALIEN SPACESHIP―DAY 

Meanwhile, Autobots are trying to open the door of the prison. 

내부. 감옥. 외계인 우주선―낮 

이러는 동안, 오토봇들은 감옥의 문을 열기 위해 애쓰고 있다. 

 

HOUND: Eyes open! 

하운드: 눈 크게 뜨고 주의해! 

 

CROSSHAIRS: I’m almost done. 

크로스헤어: 거의 다 되었다구. 

 

The door is finally open, and Autobots rush inside. 

문이 드디어 열리고 오토봇들이 안으로 돌진한다. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Big boy, coming through. Move, move, move! 

코르스헤어: 헤이 덩치, 안으로 들어가. 어서, 어서, 튀어. 

 

HOUND: (getting in) Wow! This gotta be the SuperMax. Watch corners! 

하운드: (안으로 들어가며) 아으! 이거 최첨단 경비삼엄 감옥일거야. 코너들 조심해! 

 

DRIFT: There’s a lot of cages. 

드리프트: 감방들이 많은데. 

 

HOUND: Oh, yeah! Creepy criminals down here. 

하운드: 오, 예! 여기 아래에 으스스한 범죄자들이 있구먼. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: I don’t wanna know what’s in the big cage. 

크로스헤어: 난 이 큰 우리 감방 안에 뭐가 있는지 알고 싶지 않아. 

 

HOUND: (looking at one of the cage cells) What’s this? 

하운드: (한 우리 감방들 중 하나를 바라보며) 이게 뭐지? 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Hound, don’t do it! 

크로스헤어: 하운드, 그렇게 하지 마! 

 

HOUND: (to the unseen inmate of the cage cell) Ah, you don’t look very dangerous in there. 

하운드: (우리 감방의 보이지 않는 수감자를 향해) 아, 거기 너는 매우 위험해 보이진 않는구나. 

 

Now Hound can see clearly the appearance of the inmate and expresses his disgust. The inmate is a big giant spider-like alien monster. 

이제 하운드는 수감자의 외형을 분명히 볼 수 있고 자신의 혐오감을 표현한다. 수감자는 커다란 거대 거미처럼 생긴 외계 괴물이다. 

 

HOUND: Oh, that. That’s straight ugliness. 

하운드: 오, 저. 저거 완전 흉하네. 

 

The spider­like alien monster approaches Hound, spreading and pursing its lips. It spits some secretion fluid onto Hound’s face suddenly. Hound cries out with pain. 

거미처럼 생긴 외계 괴물이 자기의 입술을 벌렸다 오므렸다 하면서 하운드에게 다가온다. 그것은 갑자기 하운드의 얼굴에 어떤 분비액을 뱉는다. 하운드가 고통스럽게 소리친다. 

 

HOUND: I’m hit. I’m hit. (rolling around on the ground) It’s melting! It’s melting! (fallen to the ground) Ah, I think it’s acid. (for a while) Ah, nuts! (wiping his face with his right hand) It’s just shizzle. 

하운드: 나 맞았어. 나 맞았어. (바닥에서 구르며) 녹아내리고 있다! 녹아내리고 있어! (땅바닥에 쓰러진 채로) 아, 난 이거 산인거 같아. (잠시 후) 아, 바보같네! (오른손으로 자기 얼굴을 훔치며) 그냥 똥이잖아. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: (kicking Hound) Eh! I hope that’s not contagious. 

크로스헤어: (하운드를 차며) 에! 전염되는 게 아니길 바래. 

 

HOUND: (setting his upper body upright) I gotta hurt you right now. (to the spider-like alien monster) You’re just too disturbing to live. (drawing his gun) Take that, bitch! 

하운드: (자기 상체를 곧바로 일으키며) 난 너 이제 죽여 버릴거다. (거미처럼 생긴 외계 괴물에게) 넌 살아있기에 너무 세상을 어지럽힌다고. (자기 총을 꺼내) 이거나 먹어, 나쁜 년아. 

 

Hound fires his gun straight at the monster. It is killed, spattering its body fluid everywhere. 

하운드가 괴물을 향해 바로 총을 발사한다. 그것은 사방에 체액을 튀기면서 즉사한다. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Oh! 

크로스헤어: 오! 

 

HOUND: You’re dead. 

하운드: 죽었구나. 

 

Hound finds Optimus hanging upside down in a cage cell when he hears Optimus groaning. Hound cheers with joy. 

하운드가 옵티머스가 신음하는 소리를 들을 때, 그가 우리 감방에 거꾸로 매달려 있는 것을 발견한다. 하운드가 기쁨에 환호한다. 

 

OPTIMUS: Ugh… 

옵티머스: 으..

 

HOUND: He’s alive! He’s alive!  

하운드: 그가 살아있다! 그가 살아있어! 

 

Optimus tries to get out, but Hound tells him to calm down. 

옵티머스가 밖으로 나오려 하지만 하운드가 그에게 진정하라고 이야기한다. 

 

HOUND: Optimus, sound off! 

하운드: 옵티머스, 크게 소리를 내봐요! 

 

OPTIMUS: In here. Quick! 

옵티머스: 여기야. 빨리! 

 

HOUND: Hang on. We’re coming for you! 

하운드: 잠깐만. 우리가 구하러 가요! 

 

OPTIMUS: The arms of this assault ship detach. We can break free. It is a separate ship. Hurry! 

옵티머스: 이 공격선의 무기들은 분리가 된다. 우리가 탈출할 수 있다구. 이건 따로 떨어져 있는 배야. 서둘러! 

 

HOUND: (climbing up to Optimus) Where is the cockpit? Right or left? 

하운드: (옵티머스를 향해 기어오르며) 조종석이 어디인데? 오른쪽, 왼쪽?

 

OPTIMUS: Right! 

옵티머스: 오른쪽이야. 

 

HOUND: I’m on it, boss! 

하운드: 하고 있네요, 대장. 

 

OPTIMUS: Hurry! We have no time! 

옵티머스: 서둘러! 시간이 없어! 

 

Drift swings his sword to get Optimus out of the cage cell. 

드리프트가 옵티머스를 우리 감방에서 꺼내려 자신의 검을 휘두른다. 

 

DRIFT: (to Optimus) Sensei!

드리프트: (옵티머스에게) 선생님! 

 

HOUND: Let’s rock! (sitting on the chair of the cockpit) I always wanted to fly one of these things. I’m up here, boss! 

하운드: 흥 좀 내 볼까! (조종석의 의자에 앉으며) 난 항상 이런 것들을 조종해 보고 싶었어. 난 위쪽에 있어, 대장! 

 

       EXT. REAR, ALIEN SPACESHIP―DAY  

Cade, Tessa and Shane are running to escape from the alien spaceship. However, they have difficulty finding the way out. They are near the big propeller in the rear.

SHANE: (to Cade) Hey, Yeager Technologies! You gonna invent us a way out of this one?

They get to the tip of the alien spaceship outside, and see thick anchor cables cast down to the buildings underneath. It is enough to make anyone feel dizzy. Many jet fighters are zooming under the cables.

Fragments from the alien spaceship are falling down to the ground, and the building looks a long way from the spaceship. Tessa is very scared. 

외계인 우주선의 부스러기들이 땅 아래로 떨어지고 있고 건물은 우주선에 한참 멀어 보인다. 테사가 무척 겁을 먹는다. 

 

TESSA: Oh, my God! Oh! (shaking her head) I’m not doing this. I’m not doing that. 

테사: 오, 세상에! 오! (고개를 저으며) 난 이거 안 할거야. 난 이거 안 한다고. 

 

CADE: (getting onto the cables) Yes, we are. 

케이드: (케이블들에 올라서며) 암, 우린 할 거야. 

 

Cade checks out the cables by jumping on them a few times, and is convinced of their stability. 

케이드가 케이블들 위에서 몇 번을 뛰어보며 점검하고 그것들의 안정성을 확신한다. 

 

CADE: Oh, it’s good. It’s stable. (to Tessa) Come on! 

케이드: 오, 좋아. 안정적이야. (테사에게) 어서! 

 

TESSA: No way. 

테사: 절대 안 해요. 

 

CADE: Sweetie, you know why I’m here? I’m here to protect you. 

케이드: 아가, 내가 여기 왜 왔는지 아니? 난 널 보호하러 온 거야. 

 

TESSA: (sarcastic) You’re doing great at that. 

테사: (냉소적으로) 정말 아빠 멋지게 하고 있어요. 

 

CADE: I want you to trust me, right now. (holding Tessa’s hand) We’re getting down. Let’s go! 

케이드: 난 지금 바로 네가 날 믿어줬으면 좋겠다. (테사의 손을 잡으며) 우리 내려간다. 가자! 

 

They walk on the cables. Cade goes first, Tessa next, and Shane follows them at the rear. 

그들은 케이블 위를 걸어간다. 케이드가 첫 번째로, 테사가 그 다음, 그리고 셰인이 뒤에서 그들을 따라간다. 

 

CADE: Don’t look down, OK? Step! See? It’s easy. Come on. 

케이드: 밑에 보지마, 알았지. 한 발짝! 알았니? 쉽잖아. 어서. 

 

They are now in the middle of the cables, but unfortunately the cables separate into many strands. Cade, Tessa and Shane are struggling to move forward, but it is difficult for them to continue. They seem to be stuck in the air. 

그들은 이제 케이블의 중간에 와 있지만, 불행히도 케이블들이 여러 가닥으로 나눠진다. 케이드, 테사 그리고 셰인은 앞으로 나가려 애쓰지만 그들이 계속 나가는 건 어렵다. 그들은 허공에 꼼짝달싹 못 하는 듯 보인다. 

 

SHANE: Careful, these cables are starting to get thinner here.

TESSA: Oh, my God! 

테사: 오, 세상에! 

 

CADE: Hey, don’t look down! All right? Don’t look down! We’re gonna be at the building in no time. 

케이드: 얘, 아래를 보지마! 알았니? 밑에 보지 말라구! 우리는 당장 저 건물로 가야 해. 

 

SHANE: Are you OK, Tess? 

셰인: 괜찮아, 테사?

 

CADE: Keep stepping. 

케이드: 계속 걸어. 

 

Tessa falters, losing her balance and plunks herself down on the cables. She nearly falls down, but quickly wraps her arms around a cable. Tessa kneels down on the cables, frightened. 

테사가 중심을 잃고 비틀거리고 케이블들 위에서 털썩 주저앉는다. 그녀가 거의 떨어질 뻔하지만, 재빨리 자기 팔을 케이블에 감싸 안는다. 테사가 놀라서 케이블들 위에서 무릎을 꿇는다. 

 

TESSA: Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Dad! Oh! (panting) Ugh~, ugh~. 

테사: 오, 세상에! 오, 세상에! 아빠! 오! (헐떡거리며) 으~, 으~. 

 

CADE: (trying to cool down her) Hey, sweetie. We need to keep moving here, OK? 

케이드: (그녀를 진정시키려 애쓰며) 애, 아가. 우리는 계속 가야만 해, 알았니?

 

Cade tries to encourage Tessa to move, but she is too frightened to go any further. 

케이드가 테사가 움직이도록 격려하지만 테사는 너무 놀라서 더 이상 나가지 못한다. 

 

CADE: (shouting) Come on! 

케이드: (고함치며) 어서! 

 

TESSA: I’m freaking out. Ugh. 

테사: 난 무서워 죽겠다고요. 으. 

 

CADE: You need to move, now! 

케이드: 움직여야 해, 지금. 

 

TESSA: (angry) I’m not moving! I’m going back to the ship. 

테사: (화나서) 난 꼼짝도 안 할 거야! 난 배로 돌아갈 거에요! 

 

She moves backward to the ship using her hands and sliding on her buttocks without standing. It looks dangerous, and she almost falls down. 

그녀가 서지 않은 채 자기의 손을 이용하고 엉덩이를 밀며 배로 돌아간다. 위험해 보이고 그녀는 거의 떨어질 뻔한다. 

 

CADE: Oh, shit! 

케이드: 오, 젠장할! 

 

TESSA: Ugh! 

테사: 으! 

 

Cade tries to persuade Tessa. 

케이드가 테사를 설득하려고 노력한다. 

 

CADE: You can’t go back to the ship, honey.  

케이드: 너 배로 돌아갈 수 없어, 아가. 

 

TESSA: (resolute) Watch me.

테사: (단호하게) 지켜 보시든가요. 

 

CADE: You’re not eighteen years old yet, and you’re gonna do what I say. Now let’s go! 

케이드: 넌 아직 18세가 아니야, 그러니 너는 내 말을 들어야 해. 이제 가자구! 

 

Steeljaws now come out, and arrive at the rear of the spaceship. They stand in front of the anchor cables, and snap their fierce-looking jaws. Cade and Tessa are still in the middle of an argument. 

강철턱들이 이제 밖으로 나와 우주선의 후미에 도달한다. 그것들이 닻 케이블들 앞에 서 있고 무시무시해 보이는 이빨로 딱딱거리는 소리를 낸다. 

 

CADE: You need to go this way, OK? Not that way! (to Shane) Talk to her, Romeo, now! 

케이드: 너 이 쪽으로 가야 해, 알았어? 그쪽이 아니라고! (셰인에게) 재한테 말 좀 해봐. 로미오, 당장! 

 

SHANE: Come on. For God’s sake. 

셰인: 어서. 제발. 

 

TESSA: Do not start with me. 

테사: 나한테 뭐라고 하기만 해 봐. 

 

Now Steeljaws are getting onto the cables. They start walking to get the human beings. The cables begin to sway terribly. Tessa feels something strange is happening but can’t see what is going on. 

이제 강철턱들은 케이블들 위로 올라온다. 그것들은 인간들을 처치하기 위해 걷기 시작한다. 케이블들이 심하게 흔들리기 시작한다. 테사가 무언가 이상한 일이 일어나고 있다고 느끼지만 무슨 일인지 알 수가 없다. 

 

TESSA: Oh, my God. What is that?! 

테사: 오, 세상에! 이게 무슨 일에요?

 

CADE: Hey, Tessa, don’t look back. 

케이드: 어어, 테사야, 뒤돌아보지마. 

 

TESSA: What? Don’t say that to me. Now I wanna turn around. 

테사: 뭐라고요? 나한테 그렇게 말하지 마세요. 지금 돌아보고 싶잖아요. 

 

CADE: Hey, it… it’s nothing major, sweetie. 

케이드: 얘, 그거.. 그거 그렇게 심각한 일 아니야, 아가. 

 

TESSA: Oh, that means it’s totally major. 

테사: 오, 그 말은 그게 완전 심각하단 뜻이네요. 

 

CADE: I have to point this gun in your direction. It’s gonna feel like it’s in your direction but I’m not. 

케이드: 내가 이 총을 네 방향으로 겨누어야만 해. 마치 네 쪽으로 쏘는 것처럼 느껴질 거야, 하지만 그런 거 아니다. 

 

Tessa now realizes Steeljaws are approaching to kill her. 

테사가 강철턱들이 자기를 죽이러 온다는 것을 이제 깨닫는다. 

 

SHANE: Better hurry. 

셰인: 서두르는 게 좋을 거야. 

 

TESSA: They are trying to kill me?

테사: 저것들이 저를 죽이려 하는 거에요?

 

CADE: I had to bust my ass to get up on that spaceship! 

케이드: 난 그 우주선에 올라탈라고 진짜 열심히 해야만 했다. 

 

SHANE: Shoot it! 

셰인: 쏴 버려요! 

 

CADE: Get down, now! 

케이드: 이제 엎드려. 

 

TESSA: (getting down) Ahhhhhh! 

테사: (엎드리며) 아! 

 

Cade fires his weapon, and three Steeljaws are shot while rushing towards Tessa. Two fall down to the ground. The other one tries to hold the cables with its forelegs to stop itself from falling, but finally falls down after being shot again. The rest of the Steeljaws start biting the cables, which causes the cables to start shaking. Cade is getting close to Tessa, now. 

케이드가 자기 무기를 발사하고, 세 마리의 강철턱들이 테사를 향해 달려들다가 맞는다. 두 마리는 땅으로 떨어진다. 다른 한 마리가 떨어지지 않으려고 앞발로 케이블을 잡으려 하다가 다시 한 방을 맞고 마침내 아래로 떨어진다. 나머지 강철턱들은 케이블을 물어뜯기 시작하는데, 이것이 케이블들을 심하게 흔들리게 한다. 케이드는 이제 테사에게 가까이 간다. 

 

TESSA: (screaming) Ahhhhh! Ahhhhhh!

테사: (소리지르며) 아! 아! 

 

SHANE: (trying to hold out) Oh! Ugh!

셰인: (버티려 애쓰며) 오! 으아! 

 

CADE: Tessa, wait! I’m coming to you. 

케이드: 테사, 기다려라! 내가 네게 간다. 

 

One of Steeljaws succeeds in cutting one of the cables with its teeth, and the three people on the cable swing downward. 

강철턱 한 마리가 그 이빨로 케이블 하나를 끊는데 성공하고 케이블 위 세 명은 아래쪽으로 출렁거린다. 

 

CADE: (holding the cable in his arms) Oh! 

케이드: (자기 품에 총을 잡으며) 오! 

 

Right at this moment, Bumble Bee appears out of nowhere, and shoots one of those Steeljaws. He grabs the neck a Steeljaws, and stabs his sword into the belly of it. Another Steeljaws pounces on Bumble Bee’s face, and the other dog finally succeeds in cutting the cable. It now prepares to attack another cable. The cables pitch heavily, and Cade, Tessa and Shane struggle to hold on. 

바로 이 때, 범블비가 별안간 나타나 강철턱 한 마리를 쏜다. 그는 강철턱의 목을 잡고 자기 검을 강철턱의 배 안으로 찌른다. 또 다른 강철턱이 범블비의 얼굴로 달려 들고 나머지 한 마리는 마침내 케이블을 끊는데 성공한다. 이제 그것은 다른 케이블도 공격할 준비가 되어있다. 케이블들이 심하게 요동치고, 케이드, 테사 그리고 셰인은 지탱하려 분투한다. 

 

TESSA: Ah! Oh, my God! 

테사: 아! 오, 세상에! 

 

CADE: (to Tessa) I’m coming! 

케이드: (테사에게) 내가 간다. 

 

SHANE: Ew… 

셰인: 으…

 

CADE: Hold on! 

케이드: 잠깐만! 

 

Bumble Bee shoots at Steeljaws, and kills them. However, the cable that three people are on is finally cut, and goes down. Bumble Bee jumps down to catch the cable, and a Steeljaws jumps toward Bumble Bee just missing him. Bumble Bee holds the end of the cut cable, and succeeds in catching the three falling human beings. Bumble Bee falls against a building, and slides down the wall of it smashing all its windows. Finally he stops, and hangs in the air holding the cable. Cade, Tessa and Shane are held in Bumble Bee’s left arm, and now they realize they have survived. 

범블비가 강철턱들을 쏘고 그들을 죽인다. 그러나 사람들이 있는 케이블이 마침내 끊어져 아래로 내려간다. 범블비가 케이블을 잡으려 뛰어내리고 다른 강철턱 한 마리가 범블비를 향해 점프하지만 살짝 빗나간다. 범블비는 끊어진 케이블의 끝을 잡은 채, 떨어지는 세 명의 사람들을 받아내는 데 성공한다. 범블비가 건물에 향해 떨어지다, 그 모든 유리창을 깨며 벽을 타고 아래로 미끄러진다. 마침내 그가 멈추고 케이블을 붙잡은 채 허공에 매달린다. 케이드, 테사 그리고 셰인은 범블비의 왼팔에 안겨있고, 이제 그들은 살아났다는 걸 깨닫는다. 

 

CADE: (pointing to Bee with his index finger) You’re the best, Bee. You’re the Best! 

케이드: (범블비를 집게 손가락으로 가리키며) 넌 최고야, 범블비. 넌 정말 최고라구! 

 

BUMBLE BEE: You’re damn right, and don’t ever forget it. 

범블비: 그 말이 진짜 맞지, 그러니 절대 잊지 마. 

 

Shane is frightened out of his wits. Cade helps him to come to himself. 

셰인은 혼비백산해 있다. 케이드가 그가 정신을 차리도록 돕는다. 

 

CADE: (grabbing Shane’s face) You see that? Look at me. We’re off the ship, right? 

케이드: (셰인의 얼굴을 잡으며) 너 그거 봤지? 날 봐. 우리가 배에서 나왔어, 알아? 

 

A small spacecraft is flying toward Bumble Bee. It comes from the alien spaceship, but Crosshairs is operating it now. 

작은 우주비행선이 범블비를 향해 날아오고 있다. 그것은 외계인 우주선에서 나왔지만, 지금은 크로스헤어가 그것을 조작하고 있다. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Bumble Bee! Bumble Bee! Friendly! Enemy ships are coming in hot. (hitting the spacecraft) Get on! Get on! 

크로스헤어: 범블비! 범블비! 아군임! 적의 함선들이 바짝 쫓아오고 있다. (우주비행선을 치며) 타! 타!

 

Cade, Tessa and Shane get on the spacecraft. Many alien spacecraft are chasing them. Bumble Bee sits on the spacecraft facing backward. 

케이드, 테사 그리고 셰인이 우주비행선에 오른다. 많은 외계인 우주비행선들이 그들을 추격한다. 범블비가 뒤쪽을 보며 우주비행선 위에 앉는다. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Hold your knickers. I’m punching it! 

크로스헤어: 속바지를 잘 입고 있어 (쓸데없이 긴장 마). 내가 한대 먹여주지 (내가 상황을 해결해 주지).  

 

Alien spacecraft are following them, firing missiles. Crosshairs’s flying skill is good enough to evade the missile attacks. The missiles burst into buildings. Now three people are sitting in the machine gun nest. 

외계인 우주비행선들이 미사일을 쏘며 그들을 쫓아온다. 크로스헤어의 비행기술은 미사일 공격을 피해낼 만큼 훌륭하다. 미사일들이 건물 안으로 들어가 터진다. 이제 세 명은 기관총좌에 앉아있다. 

 

CADE: We got three ships on it. 

케이드: 우리 뒤에 세 명이 붙었어. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: I’m giving it the juice, u-wah! 

크로스헤어: 연료를 먹여서 더 빨리 가게 해 주지, 우와! 

 

Crosshairs pulls the lever, and his spacecraft accelerates. Crosshairs’ spacecraft flies low over the river spraying water high into the air. Alien spacecraft are getting close, while continuing to shoot at Crosshairs’ spacecraft. 

크로스헤어가 레버를 당기고 그의 우주비행선이 가속한다. 크로스헤어의 우주비행선은 물줄기를 허공으로 뿌리며 강 위를 낮게 나른다. 외계인 우주비행선들이 가까이 다가오며 그 동안 계속 크로스헤어의 우주비행선을 향해 사격한다. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: (to Bumble Bee) Come on, Bee! Take ‘em out! 

크로스헤어: (범블비에게) 어서, 범블비! 그 놈들 좀 없애버려! 

 

An arrow appears from Bumble Bee’s forearm, which he discharges. The arrow flies to a ship moored at one side of the river. A cable is tied to the arrow like an anchor. The anchor-like arrow drives itself into the ship, and Bumble Bee pulls the ship hard. The ship is raised in the air. An alien spacecraft crashes into the ship and is destroyed. Cade is impressed. 

범블비의 팔뚝에서 화살이 나오고 그것을 그가 발사한다. 화살이 강의 한 편에 정박한 배로 날아간다. 한 개의 케이블이 닻처럼 화살 뒤에 묶여있다. 닻처럼 생긴 화살이 배에 꽃히고 범블비가 그 배를 힘껏 당긴다. 그 배가 허공으로 들어올려진다. 한 대의 외계인 우주비행선이 그 배와 충돌하고 파괴된다. 케이드는 감동한다. 

 

CADE: A good move, Bee! 

케이드: 좋은 한 수야, 범블비! 

 

CROSSHAIRS: This one’s for you, A-holes. 

크로스헤어: 이건 니네 거다. 쓰레기 놈들아. 

 

Crosshairs launches two missiles. They strike and destroy both sides of an opened drawbridge. Some of the alien spacecraft collide with debris from the destroyed bridge, and crash into the river. However, many more alien spacecraft are chasing them. Bullets are flying toward Crosshairs’ spacecraft. 

크로스헤어가 두 개의 미사일을 발사한다. 그것들이 도개교의 양측면을 강타해 부순다. 외계 우주비행선 중 몇 대가 파괴된 다리의 파편과 충돌해 강으로 추락한다. 하지만, 더 많은 외계 우주비행선들이 그들을 쫓아온다. 총알들이 크로스헤어의 우주비행선을 향해 날아오고 있다. 

 

SHANE: If you’re gonna do something, you’d better do it. 

셰인: 아저씨가 무언가를 하시려면, 하시는 게 좋을 거 같아요.

 

CADE: Come on! 

케이드: 맙소사! 

 

Crosshairs suddenly feels the call of his killer instinct, and wants some fun. He decides to attack the enemies. 

크로스헤어가 갑자기 킬러본능을 느끼고 재미를 보고 싶어진다. 그는 적들을 공격하기로 결정한다.

 

CROSSHAIRS: (coming to the rear) I’m sick of this crap. (to Bumble Bee) You fly! (grabs Bumble Bee and pushes him to the cockpit) I’ll shoot! 

크로스헤어: (뒤쪽으로 가며) 난 이런 헛짓거리에 질렸어. (범블비에게) 네가 조종해! (범블비를 잡아 그를 조종석에 밀어 넣는다) 내가 쏠 거다! 

 

CADE: (to Crosshairs) Hey! You’d better let me fly this thing. I’ve gotta make this ship go faster. 

케이드: (크로스헤어에게) 이봐! 내가 이걸 조종하게 해 주는 게 더 나을 거야. 내가 이 배를 더 빨리 가게 할 거라구. 

 

SHANE: (afraid of bullets shot at them) Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! 

셰인: (그들에게 날아오는 총알을 무서워하며) 으아, 으아, 으아, 으아! 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Listen up! Crash course! Tracer guns. Punch forward to fire! Slide back to reload. 

크로스헤어: 잘 들어! 단기속성과정이야! 예광탄총 사용법. 발사는 때려서 밀어! 재장전은 뒤로 밀어. 

 

CADE: What?!!

케이드: 뭐라고?

 

CROSSHAIRS: Punch, hold, slide! Repeat! Punch, hold, slide! Repeat! 

크로스헤어: 때리고, 멈췄다, 민다! 따라해 봐! 때리고, 멈췄다, 민다!

 

CADE: What are you, what are you talking about? 

케이드: 너 뭐라고, 너 뭐라고 말하는 거야?

 

SHANE: I don’t know what he means. 

셰인: 저도 저 친구가 뭐라고 하는지 모르겠어요. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Good luck! 

크로스헤어: 행운을 빌어! 

 

CADE: Where are you going? 

케이드: 너 어디가?

 

CROSSHAIRS: To lay some hate. 

크로스헤어: 증오심을 좀 놓아 두고 오려고. 

 

Crosshairs jumps out of the spacecraft turning a somersault, and from his back a parachute is released. He quickly draws his guns with both hands, and starts shooting at the alien spaceships. He destroys two alien spacecraft that were in hot pursuit. 

크로스헤어가 공중제비를 돌며 우주비행선에서 뛰어 내리고 그의 등뒤에서 낙하산이 펴진다. 그는 재빨리 양손에서 총을 빼내 외계인 우주비행선들을 향해 발사하기 시작한다. 그는 가까이 따라온 두 대의 외계인 우주비행선을 파괴한다. 

 

CROSSHAIRS: Ha ha ha! Ha ha! 

크로스헤어: 하하하! 하하! 

 

CADE: (to Shane) Say!

케이드: (셰인에게) 말해봐! 

 

CADE & SHANE: Okay. Punch, hold, fire! Repeat! Punch, hold, fire! Repeat! 

케이드와 셰인: 좋아. 때리고, 멈췄다, 발사! 다시! 때리고, 멈췄다, 발사! 다시! 

 

CADE: Go! 

케이드: 시작! 

 

SHANE: U-wah!

셰인: 우와! 

 

Now they finally succeed in firing the machine-gun, and hit one of the alien spacecraft. 

이제 그들은 기관총을 발사하는 데 성공하고, 외계인 우주비행선 한 대를 명중시킨다. 

 

SHANE: (excited) Yeah! I got one. Wow! 

셰인: (흥분해서) 예! 내가 하나 잡았다. 와우! 

 

Cade and Shane are intent on shooting. 

케이드와 셰인이 총을 발사하는데 열중한다. 

 

SHANE: (crying out) U-wah! 

셰인: (소리지르며) 우와! 

 

CADE: These alien guns kick ass. 

케이드: 이 외계인 총 진짜 죽이는데. 

 

Still alien spacecraft are chasing them. Although some of them were eliminated by our heroes, the rest of them are still in hot pursuit. Now they face a two-level road, and should go down to fly under the second level. Cade yells at Bumble Bee. 

여전히 외계 우주비행선들이 그들을 추격하고 있다. 비록 그들 중 얼마가 우리 주인공들에 의해 제거되었지만 나머지는 여전히 바짝 뒤쫓고 있다. 이제 그들은 이층으로 되어있는 도로를 마주하고 아래쪽의 두 번째 층으로 날아가기 위해 아래로 내려가야 한다. 케이드가 범블비에게 소리친다. 

 

CADE: Bee! You gotta move down! 

케이드: 범블비! 아래로 가야만 해! 

 

TESSA: Ugh! 

테사: 으! 

 

There are cars on the road, but they need to fire their weapons because alien spacecraft are still following them. This road is almost an underground roadway. 

도로에는 차들이 있지만 외계 우주비행선들이 여전히 그들을 따라오기 때문에 그들은 무기를 발사해야만 한다. 이 도로는 거의 지하로 같다. 

 

CADE: Keep firing the gun! 

케이드: 계속 총을 쏴! 

 

One of chasing alien craft gets hit and crashes down to the road. Soon another alien spacecraft is also hit, and its pilot is thrown to the pavement. The alien spacecraft is destroyed, and fire from the explosion even reaches three people. 

추격하는 외계 우주비행선 중 한 대가 총을 맞고 도로로 추락한다. 곧 다른 외계 우주비행선도 또한 총을 맞고 그 조종사가 도로위로 내던져 진다. 외계 우주비행선이 파괴되고, 그 폭발로 인한 불길이 심지어 세 사람에게까지 미친다.
